Q. Ok... I need some help... I am trying to help with the android x86 project... I need to know what the similarities of the Gateway LT20's specs are with the Asus Eee PC Netbook specs are (some examples could be the wifi card or the display or the touch pad or the processor or even the Graphics Processors... Any help with this would be much appreciated...
A. How about you simply look up the specs of both?
I'll give you a hint though, 99.9% of all netbooks have the same hardware inside them, with only a few minor differences.

Android touch screen problems?
Q. I installed android x86 on my hp tm2 laptop and my touch screen is not responding to touch
A. Well... it isn't like you were supposed to do that. I mean, it's an OS made for phones... not touch screen laptops.

It's not even software in a Beta stage. It's a couple of geeks porting an OS made for one device to another. Hell, the goal of the project is...
"To provide complete solution for Android on Eee PC platforms first and then to provide solutions for common x86 platforms as well. " and they haven't even achieved THAT yet. You are expecting their work to function properly on your HP?
And more importantly, why aren't you contacting the people who are working the project?

They give you a few different ways to do that.
In short, the touch screen is not responding to touch, because Android wasn't written to work on your HP TM2.

Installing Ubuntu +3 other operating systems?
Q. Hi,
I'm trying to install Ubuntu, Windows 7, Meego, and Android x86 for a project. Here is what I have done so far:
Partition the drive into 4 primary partitions of equal size (10gb each).
Install Windows7, Android, and Meego onto separate partitions, in that order.
Then, install Ubuntu, hoping that GRUB automatically detects the other OS's and creates entries for them.
Unfortunately, the only entries in GRUB are for Ubuntu and Windows 7. How do I get to the other 2 OS's (Android and Meego) to show up?
I appreciate the help.

A. you need to know what the partition names for Meego and Android x86 are. Then while in ubuntu, modify the grub configure file to have entries for the two other partitions.
I agree with you that grub should have auto detected them though. http://linuxers.org/howto/how-configure-grub2-ubuntu-910
and you can have up to 4 primary partitions...
