Is there an ebook platform that supports interactive content?

Q. I know that with Nook, Kindle, and iBook platforms, you can embed audio and video, but I wonder if any can go beyond that for a more fully interactive experience. I know that it could be done just by developing an app for the App Store or Android Market, but this is a less than ideal solution.

A. Sounds like what you want is "the world wide web", or HTML. It's supported on most ebook readers.
There are no ebook specific formats that support the level of interaction available on the web, because that would be silly and redundant.

can i upgrade android playstore on unlocked phone?
Q. So I got my phone unlocked today and was trying to re-install some apps.
When i tried to use my android market (Playstore) it said I had to upgrade it to Google Play.

Am I allowed to upgrade the market? If not, is there a way to download apps without using the market?

A. you are allowed to upgrade to google play, its just the new app store for android devices and you can download applications through the internet, just be careful what and where you download from because believe it or not, your phone can get a virus. To download from the web you got to go to settings and i think it's applications and allow download from internet sources and then go to 4shared, that's what i use sometimes, and type the name of the app with .apk after it. (Not for sure if it's .apk but its something like that)

Does Android have anything comparable to the app market on itunes?
Q. I want to be able to view the app market just like iphone users can

A. Currently Android Market does not have a web store front like iTune. But here is a complete list of app stores, http://www.digi-go.com/android/ and some of them do have a website where you can view app on desktop PC.
