Q. Basically my family contract isnt due up until February. I want an android phone...not an iphone. Verizon offers a ton of cellphones over ATT. Is there anyway to get out of my contract and move to Verizon without getting hit with Early Termination Fees? Possibly the fact that the ETF price is rising and I want out?
Any help please.
Edit: The current android phones suck. The only one that looks good is the Samsung Galaxy S, and they will probably gimp android on that anyway.

A. Sorry- if you're still in contract, every cell carrier charges you an ETF to switch companies.. And I agree- the Backflip is a horrible phone.. How can you call it an Android phone when ATT even removed Google search from the phone?? Google makes the freakin software!! Ugh.. Anyways.. Yea I agree, the Galaxy looks amazing, but they will probably cripple that phone too.. Get an Incredible on Verizon if you can switch in the near future, otherwise get the Motorola Shadow (it will be called the Motorola Droid Xtreme when it launches) when it comes out this summer, or get the Droid 2 in fall..

A. It will have Android 2.1 I'm hoping they will upgrade it to Android 2.2 Froyo. An awesome 8mp camera with 720p video recording will be included. If that wasn't enough HD for you a mini HDMI out will be showing 1080p quality while you watch your video on your big screen television. It supposedly has 16gb of internal memory but I'm skeptical of that because that's a lot of memory o.O. You probably already know that it will come with Wifi, Bluetooth, 3G connection, and an SD card slot. The casing is said to be metal and will have a 4.3 inch screen with 480x854 resolution. Many articles keep saying "it has a QWERTY keyboard" and some say "It doesn't have a QWERTY keyboard". The most recent leak says it does but since it also says it has Safari pre-installed i wouldn't believe it just yet. Well, I guess that's all I can tell you without going to technical like Apps and all that. Oh I forgot about the processor but I'm only smart enough to tell you the name which is 720 MHz OMAP 3630 Processor and that it will be very fast.
