How do I set a gif as my galaxy blaze wallpaper?

Q. I just got a Galaxy Blaze, and it allows for wallpapers to be moving images. I set some gifs that I downloaded as my wallpaper, but they only appear as one still image. How do I set gifs that I downloaded as my wallpaper to move like the default gifs they provide?

A. GIF files are not used for Android live wallpapers. There are a bunch of tutorials on line on how to build them.

How to put live wallpapers on my android evo design?

Q. I have an android evo device and was wanting to put a live wallpaper I found on the internet on it, but I cannot find the folder to put it in.
Evo Design <- Android device
Dancing-android.apk <- live wallpaper

A. Transfer the .apk file to your device's SD card via USB or using www.apkinstall.com (use your phone's QR scanner). It doesn't matter which folder you put the .apk file in, you can even put it directly on the root of the SD card if you want.

Next, download any file manager on Google Play. Astro File Manager (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.metago.astro&hl=en) is a popular and simple one. Navigate to the .apk file on your device, tap it to install it. Follow the instructions and you are done ;).

Just in case you don't know how to select the live wallpaper, go to your home screen, menu button>Live wallpapers>[Live wallpaper's name]

Q. Can someone tell me how to get live wallpapers working for my droid eris? I already tried updating the OS but I never benn prompted to update my phone from HTC, and I have gone on the site but, I still cant find anything. A. You cant. Live wallpapers is one of the features of Android 2.1 that does not work on the Eris- sorry
