I dropped my phone into milk yesterday i gfot it out and completley got it dried my speaker wont work?
Q. I dropped it into a bowl of cereal and then got it dried and i have almost everything working except for the speaker...MY phone is an android it is a touch screen and surprisingly i have everything working except the speaker...you can barley hear anything...how do i fix this?
A. You did the worst thing you can do when a phone gets wet, and that's to try turning it on. Best thing to do when a phone gets wet is to immediately take everything apart, put all the pieces in a ziplock bag, fill it with uncooked rice, seal it, and don't touch it for at least 2-3 days- the longer, the better. If you, or someone you know, has a tank of compressed air, blow air into the phone for a couple minutes before you put it in the rice. That will be your best chance of getting the phone to work again and to be able to get your information off of it.
