Why is an alternate email address missing from my FROM list?

Q. Alternate email addresses work fine on PC, not when using Yahoo! Android app on HTC Thunderbolt. Problem began when I uninstalled and reinstalled app to fix another issue. Since then my drop-down FROM list is incomplete. I've gone through several reboots and reinstalls, but no luck.

A. If you've "upgraded" Yahoo mail switch back to the Classic for the time being. Most of the problems people are having is BECAUSE of the new Y Mail. Most likely including the problem you're having now

The New "Improved'' (sic) Mail is Very very Buggy, Unstable & a pain in the butt & There's Several Solutions To go back to Y Classic Mail. There are literally Thousands & Thousands of users complaining they can't use their mail properly. At Least One of These Solutions will work either Permanently or Temporally to get You in Your Mail so you can Manage it for now.
It's a lot of words but some folks are PC illiterate & I don't Know What Group You're in.

If your previous version was the "New Mail", then you MAY be stuck with it & you can't get it back Permanently. Solutions for you below

Simple Solutions:

**PERMANENT SOLUTION** (ONLY if you have NOT "upgraded" Yet)

To get back to the Classic version you'll have to lower the resolution on your PC to the point where it won't support the "upgraded" version.
To do this Right click on a blank space on your desktop & choose "Properties". Select the "Settings" tab. Move the slider that says "Screen resolution" all the way to the left (or Below 1024 by 768 pixels) Click OK. You may have to restart your PC (depending on your settings)
Note: I'm running XP & Some have said it didn't work in Windows 7 for them. Some it does

In Windows 7:
Go to Control panel >
Display >
Adjust resolution on the left side of the screen & change it Below 1024 by 768 >
Then follow the rest of my info

After rebooting or logging into your Y mail account like normal - while in this new low screen resolution, you'll be asked to upgrade. Do so & click OK or upgrade (don't worry). When you're in the new mail you'll brought to a page that tells you the resolution is to low. It'll give you a few choices. Choose the "last one" which will say something like 'go back to the previous version you were using'. Click that & you'll be brought to your old classic mail. Now you can change your screen resolution like it was before. This should be permanent - not just a one time fix

**TEMP SOLUTIONS** (If you HAVE already "Upgraded" to the new Yahoo mail)

You can use these two links though it's only a temp fix & you'll have to use them every time to access the Classic version. Put them in your bookmarks or favorites for easy access. (All the links do the same thing)
http://us.mc598.mail.yahoo.com/mc/launch
or
http://us.mc598.mail.yahoo.com/mc/welcome

If the links don't work & open up Y Original Classic Mail then copy/paste the address in a new window or tab & press enter.

Im deciding on which phone to get on Verizon, The Iphone 4 or the Htc Thunderbolt?
Q. For a while now I have been wanting to get the iphone 4 once it hits Verizon on February 10, but I just recently been watching videos on the Htc thunderbolt and it looks really sweet plus its the first 4gLTE phone on Verizon. So I just wanted people's opinions on it. Please leave your thoughts. Thank you!

A. htc thunderbolt. the iphone on verizon wont have all the capabilities the original has on att because of what system verizon runs on. plus the android market has more apps since they dont reject apps like apple does and that you can watch flash, play facebook games and its much more customizable, with custom wallpapers and "live wallpapers" that are interactive or move. all and all if you want to pay for everything and have little freedom choose apple, android is freedom in your hand. plus its constantly updating and changing to where you can decide what type of phone you want, what it looks like, unlike the iphone which only comes in one flavor....apple

Which Android phone is the best on Verizon?
Q. I'm debating either getting an iPhone 4 or an Android. I'm really leaving towards the HTC Thunderbolt. It's suppose to come out Febuary 14th. But can anyone tell me what's the best phone out on Verizon? Which should I get? Thanks.

A. Definitely the HTC Thunderbolt. It has the latest 1Ghz snapdragon processor which isn't as fast as the Motorola Droid Bionic dual-core 1Ghz Tegra 2 processor but still fast. HTC Sense looks and runs way smoother than Motoblur. Those two phones are 4G LTE capable, and the iphone 4 will only run on Verizon's 3g network. So, unless your not in a 4g market you can get the iphone 4 or wait until later this June for an iphone 5 that will probably be LTE capable. If you can wait you should do that, but its up to you if you really want the HTC Thunderbolt.
