Is there an Android app to check how many texts/minutes you've used?

Q. I am getting my first Android phone tomorrow (hopefully), it's a Sony Ericsson X10 Mini Pro and I was just wondering if there is any application available on the market that tells you how many texts, minutes and data you have used. Or is there something like this already built in?
Thanks

A. There is no general app for that because that's something that's measured by your carrier. T-Mobile USA has a "My Account" apps that does this, but it's only available for their phones and accounts. Check with your carrier.

What Verizon wireless android smartphones are coming out in the month of may and the last week of april?
Q. What about the HTC Droid incredible 2? Samsung galaxy S2? For the USA?

A. Samsung Droid Charge 4g and HTC Droid Incredible will be out on Thursday april 28 (tomorrow lol)
As for the Galaxy 2 its not sure but more then likely it will be mid to late summer

whats a cheap way to call from Jamacia to USA?
Q. Me and my Girlfriend are traveling to Jamacia. She needs to check her messages for work incase their is an emergency. If there is one, she would need to be able to call from Jamacia to the US. Could anyone recomend the cheap and easiest way to do this? I know their is skype and google voice, but they don't say how much it is to call from another country, which i think matters since the number was made in the USA, though please correct me if i'm wrong.
Thanks for the help!

A. What you are paying for with your home mobile is the roaming charges...this is how your bill when you return home will be unbelievably high....You have a few options....

1 - Bring a laptop/android/i-phone and find free wifi, usually most hotels/resorts have it or you can always find local bar that has it, buying a drink maybe something to eat and you can use their free wifi on your laptop to use the above programs you mentioned...of course if you have a android or i-phone then this option will also work with the free local wifi and the above programs...

2 - bring an unlocked mobile with you, purchase a JA local number sim from Digicel - local JA mobile provider - and purchase some international minutes....this is what I do for my long stays....1000 minutes is about 20US. You can also then purchase some local minutes if you want to call your hotel, your driver, a local restaurant for reservations...there is a Digicel store in Mobay, Negril, Ochi, and many other little towns and cities....ask your hotel staff or your driver and they will help you arrange to get to they store and see if the driver will go in with you....he will help - make sure you tip him if he does - ....

3 - do the above but have your own mobile unlocked by your provider before you leave and put the sim in your home mobile....if you use an i-phone as they are usually locked to the carrier for the duration of your contract and the carrier will not unlock it until your contract is over, this option will not work...

4 - speak with your provider and see if they have a reasonable roaming plan that you can add for the time that your there or for a month and then cancel once you return...

Whatever you do, speak with your mobile carrier before you go. Do this well in advance in case you need to do something or wait for them to do something or activate something...
