Is it possible to transfer files from pc to mobile without kies software?

A. Hello, there are a few things you can check. a) If you don't have a memory card inserted, you can check if after inserting a memory card your problem gets solved or try with a different memory card. b) Both your phones are Android phones, you can try installing Android driver on your computer. Read here: http://www.androidsim.net/2009/08/how-to-1-how-to-install-usb-driver-on.html and http://www.downloadatoz.com/howto/how-to-install-usb-driver-for-android-devices,22496.html see if that works for you , c) If you're using windows xp or older operating systems, you can try connecting to a modern OS, like vista or windows 7 d) If all these don't work then download and install the latest version of kies . e) If things still don't work then i guess you may need to visit the samsung service center.

I myself have a samsung android device, just bought yesterday and I tried just now connecting and the 'mass storage' didn't work for me as well, but i'm using windows xp. I will first try on a recent operating system, or try installing android driver. If everything fails I will install latest kies and check.

I cant listen to music on my android?
Q. I was able to thus morning but I took my sd card out to put more music on it and when I put it back in all it said was "no music kept on device" I feel like its done this to me before but if it did I can't remember how I fixed it. Please help!

A. See. Maybe the files of the android version are damaged, maybe when you try update software.

Try update software, or, if you can´t, you`ll need change the motherload drivers.

Transferring files to my android tablet?
Q. I just got a new android tablet. My computer can't put files onto it - it keeps getting the message "the device has either stopped responding or has been disconnected". Of course, I just connected it and can browse all the files on the device through my PC. But for some reason it won't let me put new files on it. It's worthless if I can't put the files on it...

A. It sounds like a driver issue to me but don't fret. I NEVER NEVER connect my android tablet to my PC to transfer files. I use Dropbox for android - you can also stream music from your dropbox account :)

create an online account - any files uploaded from your computer to dropbox are synced to the tablet and vice versa. Dropbox even has client software for Windows and mac if you prefer.

you can try other free services such as sugarsync, spideroak, ubuntu one just to name a few that are similar to dropbox.

I also use WiFi File Transfer

also look at Pogoplug

audiogalaxy
