Q. I have a samsung m400.
How can I tell if it has a QR Code Reader?
How can one determine if any version of mobile phone has QR code reader, (maybe someone out there has another cell besides mine. Perhaps a apple, or other brand of cell).

A. You pretty much just need a phone that can support external applications- iOS (Apple), Android OS, BlackBerry, Nokia's OS (forgot the name), HP, Windows Phone, etc... there's a lot of them. Most barcode scanner apps have QR code reading built into them.
If your phone supports Java (usually you'll see the Java logo when youstart certain applications), you probably have the ability to add it. Try checking out something like http://www.beetagg.com/en/supported-phones/ to see if that app supports it.
95% of the time, though, these are just links to something you can access via the mobile website for the company anyway... so there's not really a lot that's missed.

QR code reader? Good Java apps?
Q. I'm about to get an iPhone clone that runs Java. What is a good FREE QR code scanner/reader? Also, what is a good website to get more apps for Java? Thanks!
A. Barcode Scanner is a good app for that kind of thing.
As for Java apps, the Android Market is solely Java based apps.

A. It is called a QR Code. It is a square that has coding information on it. A lot of stores like Best Buy has it on the pricing tags for each product. With any smartphone like your android cell phone you can use your camera and the software app to take a picture of that square coding and information will come up about the product or item you are interested in. You will need a QR reader app to reading any QR Code Square.
Some people will use a QR Code as their business card. The QR Code Square will have coding their information, contact information and or website.
