Q. I have an Android phone (Samsung Galaxy S3) and I am trying to transfer photos onto my Macbook by using a USB cord, but the Mac does not seem to support the device or even recognize it. I am not tech-savy at all, so please, "dumb" down your answers for me!
A. You have to download the official Android Mac File Transfer Program. Here is the link, it is really easy to use: http://www.android.com/filetransfer/
Alternatively and more preferably, you can download the official Samsung Kies. You can sync your Music, Photos, Videos, Contacts and what nots without using any usb cables through wifi. The link for that is right here: http://www.samsung.com/us/kies/
I hope I helped, best of luck!
