Would you sacrifice a phone upgrade to get an Android? Should I just wait for the Iphone 5?

Q. I have an Iphone 4 and am due for an upgrade. I have heard rumors that the Iphone 5 will be released in the Fall so I was thinking of waiting for that. However, some of the Android phones ( I have Verizon) look pretty good ( Droid Razr, Galaxy S). I have never had an Android phone...Do you think it would be worth bypassing the Iphone 5.

A. Yes. Get an iphone5. If you are really into andriod, you can purchase google nexus 7 which is released recently. In this case, you can have the best of both worlds.

Currently, there is a campaign that allow apple users to test drive iphone 5 before the actual release. It's free and users can keep it, however you need to do surveys relating to the phone like performance, battery life etc. It should take an hour to complete it. View source.

If i clear data for my camera app on Android razr does it remove my pictures?
Q. Is there anyway to fix it without going to a verizon store

A. you mean go to setting, application, manage application, camera, clear data option? No, you won't loose ur pics. I've just done it before answering this question(captured images, closed the app, went to setting, application, manage application, camera, clear data. then i opened file manager, DCIM, camera, all image I've just captured remain there; not deleted) since all captured images will be stored in SD card by default setting unless u don't have any SD card it'll be stored in internal storage.
If u get any problem with ur camera app and clearing the data option seems not helping u, i guess the only way to make it work properly again is by doing a factory reset but it'll delete third party apps/downloaded apps, contacts, sms, phone setting, mails, etc. backup sms using sms backup and restore app, backup contacts by importing it to SD card (optional) though usually ur Google account will restore the contacts and mails after u sign in again, u need to redownload and install all third party apps.
if a factory reset doesn't solve the camera issue, i guess u need to reflash the firmware/stock rom(the easiest and the safest way is by taking it to ur service centre; verizon on ur case)

Whats the point of removing bloatware on android?
Q. I just bought the Motorola RAZR Max HD and my friend recemends that I root and remove bloatware. What exactly does this benefit? Extra ram or???

A. Many of the pre installed apps arent used by most people
They occupy system memory, and possibly RAM, and these apps often start services which can also potentially grab a share of the CPU usage.
you can always root the phone, remove the bloatware, and then unroot the phone in case you arent keen on having a rooted phone
