Will the new Archos 101 G9 tablet be worth getting in September?

Q. It looks pretty sweet from what i've seen, will it be upgradable to Android's Ice Cream Sandwich?

A. I'm more excited to see what the new Android tablets coming this fall that will be running the new quad-core NVIDIA Kal-El and Texas Instruments OMAP5 chips. Although Archos is a quality brand, they're already behind the curve, processing-wise, with dual-core OMAP4 chips (although their hard drive options are interesting)
I'm waiting to see what Amazon's "Hollywood" tablet can do with the OMAP5. No Kal-El tablets announced by anyone yet, other than "coming late summer" claims by NVIDIA. Kal-El should be the better chip, although TI hasn't come through with all their specs yet.
These new tablets, with Ice Cream Sandwich, could be as good, if not better than, whatever Apple packs into the iPad3.

Can i play games on Android from my USB Pen Drive?
Q. I am trying to play Games on my 5LINX Velocity tablet without going to the store, but it wont play them. It runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, so, how can i install games from my USB on to the tablet. I downloaded them from pirate bay.

A. If there are .apk files then you can transfer from USB to your tablet. Then on tablet you can just open that file and it gets installed. After installations you are ready to play!

What exactly IS "ice cream sandwich" for android phones?
Q. I have an HTC Mytouch 4g Slide. I was just wondering what the ice cream sandwich update is all about?

A. Ice Cream Sandwich, also known as Android version 4, is the first version of Android that is designed to run equally well on both phones and tablets. Versions 1.x through 2.x were optimized for phones, and 3.x for tablets. Now, with the version 4, one OS can run on both types of devices.
