Q. I'm so impressed with the ipod and it's apps, but how do the android apps compare? Are there many free ones like apple apps.
A. Apple have more apps simply because they were on the market long. However, Android apps are quickly catching up and may surpass in the next few years.
Where is a good place to buy Android apps from?
Q. I want to know a good pace to buy Google Android apps from. (besides the Android Market). Is there a way to get Angry Birds ad-free, or get Plants vs Zombies, I know that Amazon's App Store have ad-free Angry Birds and Plants vs Zombies, but that app store only works in the United States. Is there any place that offers those apps?
A. No, you can't get them from other places. There is no such thing as "cracked" versions.
If it's about the location, you may want to try to use VPN service so that you are like coming from U.S to purchase these apps.
There are many good apps in Android Market, check out here to find apps that fit for you, http://www.listofapp.com/category/android/

How can you make money from android apps?
Q. I am taking a class on programming android apps. I want to find a way to make money from my app. It is a app that helps people find the latest events at their universities. How can I monetize it?
A. Thats a good idea for a app, Jason. Try your best to make it happen!
To answer your question about making money from apps, there are a couple of ways you can do this. One, you can always charge people to use your app, but I don't recommend this. Based on my experience from making apps, I noticed that free apps always have a ton of more users than paid apps. Your userbase will reduce by at least 50% if you charge people to download the app.
So my recommendation would be to provide a free app, and monetize it somehow like using ads, premium content, and other things. Since you said your app is about the latest events at universities, you can always charge people to put their events at the top!
Good luck!
