What is the best free music download app for android without wifi?
Q. I need an app where I can get free fast mp3 downloads without having to use wifi , because we don't know the password to our wifi connection && I'm not always in places with wifi . I do have full internet access .

A. Without WiFi? If that means you do have a data plan, then I suggest you try Tubemate. It's actually a Youtube to MP3 converter (you can download videos too) that works directly on your phone :) I use it all the time, since almost all songs can be downloaded off of Youtube, and you can even download unofficial remixes that you like! :D

The problem is that this app has now been taken off the market, so the only way to download it is to go to the website on your phone, and download it directly from there. I promise you its 100% safe! Just go to http://m.tubemate.net/ on your phone, and choose the AndroidFreeware download link, and after its finished downloading, drag down your status bar and select the downloaded file and it will install just like it would on a PC! :D

How do I root Android phones to receive free apps from teh android market place?
Q. How do I root android phones to get free apps from the android market place?

A. You have a horrible misunderstanding of what rooting is.....there is no way that Google would encourage rooting if it allowed you to download paid apps for free from the market.

Rooting
Obtaining root ("administrator", or "full") access to the device. This means you can mount its internal memory partition as read/write, which lets you do various things: have USB or Wi-Fi tethering, uninstall applications you otherwise can't uninstall (e.g. the Amazon MP3 store), install applications that need root access (such as AdFree), disable the camera shutter sound (simply by deleting the shutter sound file), overclock or underclock the CPU, install and boot Debian, and so on.
