Q. Idk how, but the android market app got deleted off my phone. I want to search for new apps, but I can't since the market app is gone. How can I get it back?
A. Maybe the name changed. My android app store used to be called "the android market" I got an update and so did my friends with android and it is now called "the play store" good luck!
why will my HTC Inspire not update to the Google Play app market?
Q. The new app market for android is called Google play. Mine will not update to it. My husband has the exact same phone as me and he has google play....Why wont it work for my phone? When I check to see if there are any system updates, it says it's up to date. Please Help before I throw my phone in the toilet.
A. My HTC Inspire 4G (rooted, but on stock ROM) is also stuck on Android Market. I'd assume there's some licensing/compatibility issues, but as far as I know the Desire HD does have Play, so I assume there's a different reason. Just hold on, Play will probably come to all modern devices eventually.
EDIT-You can also manually upgrade here: http://www.theandroidsoul.com/update-google-play-store-apk-version-3-4-7-is-out/. My Inspire is now running Play Store without a problem.

Where do I download the Android market app?
Q. I have a pandigital e-reader that is also an Android but I can not find the android Market app? Is there a download link where I can download it?
A. By itself, the Pandigital e-reader does not have the capability to access the Android Market, however there is a way to hack it to turn it into a fully functional Android tablet. Instructions can be found here: http://www.instructables.com/id/Hack-your-pandigital-E-Reader-into-an-Android-tabl/
